About Me

Like so many women, I found myself in a career predicament when I became a mum. After more than 15 years as a corporate Executive Assistant, I still had the drive and ambition to deliver good work and help businesses thrive. But my need to spend more time at home being present with my daughter (and less time commuting to and from loooong days in the office) made it seem like I had to choose – career or family? But why can’t I have both? I knew I couldn’t be the only one trying to find a balance between continuing to build a successful career and giving myself the time, grace and permission to be the present parent I’d dreamt of becoming. And I knew I could help them (and help me) build that balanced life. Which is why I left corporate life behind and started Virtual Associate Services...
