My name is Karie and I am the founder of Circular Design Thinking. I am a Sustainable Design Consultant with a passion for design, strategy, development and shifting the interiors' market from a linear model to that of the circular economy.
Over the past twenty years, my experience has led me from being a 'fast fashion' buyer into the interior textiles space, having had my own boutique textile and wallpaper studio for ten years. Then working as a Product Designer for Armadillo rugs, textile merchant Charles Parsons and Milliken flooring .
Some of my projects have been featured in the likes of Belle, Vogue Living and Australian House & Gardens. I am currently working with clients such as Space Furniture, Kvadrat Maharam, Cult Design, Green Building Council of Australia and the Australian Furnishings Association as we implement change around sustainable materials and operations.
Driven by passion, I approach each project with direction and purpose to provide expertise and implement viable solutions with long-term environmental gains.
