James is an author and CEO at Tradecraft Capital, a blockchain asset manager focused on the next economic cycle, the Age of Autonomy®. He brings over 30 years as a technologist, executive, and serial entrepreneur with depth guiding ventures to realize their full potential.
After a successful SaaS turnaround and sale in 2017, James took a deep dive into the blockchain space where, after extensive study of this new technology, he became convinced of its potential. He was an early investor in Tradecraft, then an advisor where he assisted in refining the Age of Autonomy® thesis, and was subsequently invited to take the executive reigns, leading the firm to a track record of outperformance while maintaining a conservative approach. He is a Co-Founder of the Autonomy2040 conference and also a mentor and advisor to technology and blockchain ventures. A technologist at heart, James holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
