About Me

I am a formerly incarcerated survivor of addiction, a Certified Drug and Alcohol Studies Specialist with a degree in Social and Behavioral Science and a Registered Alcohol and Alcohol Technician with rhe California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. I am the author of two books on substance use disorder, a freelance journalist writing on Justice reform issues and law and criminal justice reform consultant. My work is focused on issues which reflect my values, changing attitudes, policies and practices which perpetuate harmful models of response to poverty, addiction, crime and homelessness.
