About Me

I have worked in the book industry since leaving university and getting a part time as a bookseller in London. I ended up staying in book retail and helped set up various businesses in Boston, Chicago, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. I moved over to publishing with John Wiley (Asia) where I was sales and marketing director. Later I spent a decade as trade publisher at Marshall Cavendish (Asia) before joining Apple and helping to set up iBooks in China. Returning to the UK 25 years after leaving I set up a literary agency, primarily to help friends and ex-colleagues find publishing deals. The business grew quickly and I now specialise in academic and professional nonfiction. I have a roster of over 50 global authors and place books with publishers all over the world.
