Andrew Nathan Wilner, MD, FACP, FAAN, is a board-certified internist, board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained epilepsy specialist. After graduating from Yale University, he studied medicine at the Faculte Catholique in Lille, France for two years. Dr. Wilner graduated from the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, Providence, RI, in 1981. In 1982, Dr. Wilner discovered that locum tenens was the perfect solution to achieve work/life balance as a physician and writer. He subsequently practiced locum tenens in outpatient, inpatient, academic and community settings.
