Used to work as a DJ and spent most of ages 18-23 in nightclubs either picking the music or trying to figure out how to get more people to rock up. The natural progression after DJ’ing nights is promoting them, and because I was paradoxically anti-social, I had to figure out a way to make strangers rock up to my events without talking to anyone - So I hyper obssesed over Facebook and Instagram ads. Was pretty quickly the go-to guy for event marketing in Perth and did the ads for a huge chain of nightclubs, bars, festivals and events. You either die a rockstar or live long enough to become a sellout, so I started a Digital Agency.
